Are you passionate about our planet and social justice?
Do you yearn to design with purpose and meaning – helping to educate your clients and community about sustainability and the impact their purchases can have on the world?
We’re looking for a self-motivated, creative designer to join our team and help grow our business. You’ll plan, design, and implement residential projects – including documentation and project management – from start to finish.
Our ideal candidate shares our design philosophy and aesthetic vision: a love of neutrals, texture, organic materials, and the hand of the artist/craftsperson. We treasure interior spaces that are humble, quietly beautiful, and meaningful to our clients rather than ones that are flashy, graphic, or brightly colored.
During the pandemic, we are flexible on whether the position is part-time or full-time and can be flexible on hours as well (not necessarily M-F, 9-5). The most important thing to us is to find the right person to join our team and help Annabode grow, no matter what they’re currently juggling .
Right now our team is working remotely but eventually this will be an in-office position, with regular M-F hours.
Please send your resume, portfolio, and a cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
We’re not your typical design firm – we believe less is more, that old is (usually) better than new, and that we can create more meaningful homes for our clients by connecting them with the stories behind everything we source.
Style: Earthy, organic, + warm.
Dream house: A 19th century homestead on a quiet Vermont lake.
Object in my home I’d save first in a fire: The antique stamp box my son carried our rings in at our wedding, given by my dad and etched with the mountains where my husband and I grew up (and were married).
Favorite local resource: So many! Cedar & Hyde in Boulder, or Capsule in Denver.
Style: Elevated eclectic.
Dream house: A stylish yet cozy farmhouse outside of Aspen or Napa Valley.
Object in my home I’d save first in a fire: My childhood keepsake box full of photos and memories.
Favorite local resource: Modern Nomad in Denver. Any flea market or antique shop I happen to stumble upon.
