Tucked away in the foothills, our Ken Caryl project was small but powerful. This dated home office was stuck in the 90s with glossy cherry cabinetry, green carpet, and plum striped wallpaper.
Dark and cluttered, it felt at odds with our clients’ recent light-filled kitchen renovation.
We touched every inch of this office to transform it into an airy, calming, and masculine retreat. The carpet was replaced with new wood flooring and a custom wool rug, while the built-ins and millwork were painted our favorite green-gray shade.
We added a central chandelier to create a focal point, updated the window treatments, and introduced vintage & handcrafted furnishings throughout. The result is an impeccably crafted respite that truly feels cohesive with the rest of the home.
