Great Finds: Light and Ink Studio

After my fiancé and I bought our first house, we were pretty strapped for cash when it came to decorating.  The only artwork we owned had been inherited from our families, besides a few pieces I had made myself.  I remember turning the pages of Martha Stewart Living one day, when all of a sudden the most beautiful print of a tree trunk was staring me in the face!  I immediately tore it out and put it in a frame, and hung it in our bathroom–where it stayed for two years (a record!).  It looked just as beautiful to me as the real thing, and no one ever knew it was just from a magazine.

I found the real thing the other day, and have been drooling over the prints ever since.  Light & Ink just opened their Etsy shop this April, and I can’t wait to get my hands on one of their hand-pulled stump prints!  These would look great in a simple frame, placed on a shelf somewhere.
