The Before: This expansive recent build in Applewood had never felt right for our client’s style. The blue walls and tile and feminine, farmhouse furniture were clashing with the warm, rustic Colorado mountain-feel of the house.
Plus, the existing fireplace was disproportionate to the living room’s high ceilings and cut off the room. The main living areas were in need of new finishes, window treatments, and updated furniture, cabinetry and decor in order to bring the home to life.
The After: By choosing neutral finishes, we made our client’s favorite palette of blues and grays shine in textiles, artwork, and decor.
We refreshed the home with a zellige backsplash and brass hardware in the kitchen, custom cabinetry in the mudroom, dramatic grasscloth in the powder, and new lighting, paint, and furniture throughout the house.
The living room layout was reworked for their growing family with a plush, deep sectional and we finished off the space by styling with the client’s existing accessories.
